Plan Upgrade

Overview

You can upgrade your 10x GEO plan (10xGEO: llms.txt AISEO AEO GEO) at any time to increase limits and unlock features across LLMs.txt, Prompt Watch, Content Plan, Content Sonic, Analytics, and the Widget.

Your upgrade is approved and billed through Shopify’s subscription system. The Shopify approval screen is the source of truth for the amount and billing timing.

How to upgrade

In Shopify admin, go to Apps and open 10xGEO: llms.txt AISEO AEO GEO.

In the app navigation, select Plans. (If you hit a limit, you may also see an upgrade banner that takes you to Plans.)

Select the plan you want and, when available, the billing cycle (for example, monthly or yearly), then continue.

You’ll be redirected to Shopify’s subscription approval screen. Review the price and billing details, then approve to confirm the upgrade.

After approval, Shopify returns you to 10x GEO and your new plan becomes active.

What happens to billing

  • Proration may apply: Shopify can charge for the remainder of the current period at the new price and/or credit unused time on your previous plan (based on Shopify’s billing rules).

  • Your next billing date may stay the same or adjust: the Shopify approval screen shows what will happen for your change.

To see the exact charge, next billing date, and invoices, open Shopify admin → Settings → Billing (or, in some Shopify versions, Apps → 10xGEO: llms.txt AISEO AEO GEO → Billing).

What you get after upgrading

The exact limits and included features depend on the plan you choose. You can always confirm current numbers on the Plans screen.

Higher limits

  • LLMs.txt product coverage — include more products in your LLMs.txt output.

  • Prompt Watch — track more prompts and (depending on the tier) access more AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google Gemini.

  • Content Sonic — run more content generations per billing period.

Faster refresh schedules

  • LLMs.txt refreshes — higher tiers can include shorter refresh intervals so your published file stays more up to date.

  • Prompt Watch checks — higher tiers may check prompts more frequently and/or across more channels.

More analytics history (when Analytics is included)

  • Longer data retention — higher tiers may keep more days of AI referrer and analytics history.

Extra features on higher tiers

  • Content Plan — access to the 90-day content strategy and prioritized topic ideas (when included).

  • Widget — additional on-site and FAQ capabilities (depending on plan).

Your existing data (for example: prompts you track, generated content, FAQs, and Widget settings) remains in your store and in the app when you upgrade.

Downgrading and cancelling

If downgrades are available for your store, you can start the change from Plans and approve it in Shopify.

  • Your available limits and included features will follow the new plan.

  • If your current usage is above the new plan’s limits, parts of the app may be restricted until usage resets for the next billing period (based on how the plan is configured).

Shopify may apply proration depending on timing and the type of change. Always review the Shopify approval screen before confirming.

Cancelling stops future billing and ends access after your current billing period.

To cancel, go to Shopify admin → Settings → Billing (or Apps → 10xGEO: llms.txt AISEO AEO GEO → Billing, depending on your Shopify version) and cancel the 10x GEO recurring app charge.

After your subscription ends, app-dependent services stop running. This can affect scheduled updates like LLMs.txt refreshes and plan-based functionality in Prompt Watch, Content Sonic, Analytics, and the Widget.
